Examus has launched a new product, the online proctoring system named Examus Verbal. It provides maximum transparency and remote monitoring of students during verbal exams.
Examus Verbal allows an organization to conduct a verbal exam remotely in a single-window mode. The entire process is recorded and analyzed by artificial intelligence (AI) and an independent proctor to ensure maximum transparency. At the beginning of the exam, students connect to the system, get their question cards, and then have time to prepare the answers. When the time expires or when the examinee is ready, they are invited to a separate virtual room with the board of examiners. The communication process between them is the same as during the classic verbal exam in a classroom.
The smart AI solution, together with the proctor, can track:
• Absence/presence of a student or other people on the screen;
• Unknown voices in the room;
• Usage of cheat sheets, lecture notes, telephones, tablets, and other gadgets by the examinee;
• Usage of virtual machines, screen-sharing software, and other tools to pass the exam by somebody else;
• Switching between windows or tabs on the user's desktop;
• Any attempts of non-verbal communication.
